Use an iPad as Wireless Monitor

How cool is this?

I love having multiple monitors and had wondered about the ability to use the iPad as one.  Now for just $2 you can turn your iPad into a second monitor with DisplayLink.

I had no problems with the wireless setup, it was extremely easy and only took a minute or two.  There was a bit of a graphics lag time with the iPad that was noticeable when you moved items onto the iPad’s screen but if you’re using it as a text reader (ie email, Skype, etc.) you shouldn’t find much problem with it. It’s currently only available for Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Very cool app – I highly recommend it.  [DisplayLink iTunes Link]
